Moving Day!!!
Well Folks!
I’m on my way out the door with a carload of boxes that have been waiting to be unpacked for almost 2 months now. I just can’t wait to throw myself onto the bed and take my first well deserved siesta in my own room.
Of course, no rest for the wicked - my friend Kara from The States came in just an hour ago for a day visit in Madrid, my Aussie friend Lizzy is flying in at 4:30 with her life on her back; about start her stint living in Madrid, and Jacki will be flying in around the same time to continue her 3rd term in office as Madrid’s Terrace Queen.
I think I might have just enough time to drop my stuff in the corner of my room, say hello to the new roomies, buy Lance and Fan a drink for their help moving and the off to paint the town red.
A nap does sound nice though… Maybe I can squeeze in one of those too.
