Farewell Bombi…

Last night I got a phone call from my father informing me that his mother-in-law Bombi had just passed away.
Bombi and Papa, husband and wife since they were two bright eyed youngins, together formed the nucleus of the Cassinari family. And when my father married Carol, they were first in line to invite us 4 siblings into the clan.
Bombi was a real marvelous woman. She would light up any room she came into. One look at that smile of hers in the picture above will pretty much explain that. She will be missed, and she’ll be thought of often and fondly for many years to come.
I’ve a candle burning for her, Papa, Carol, Dad and the rest of the family who are surely open to any white light that can be sent their way.
Much love to you all.
Paul

With tears in my eyes for your beautiful tribute to Bombi … thank you, Paul.
I Love you.
DAD
She does look enormous, even though she’s kind of little, sitted there in the middle of all of you… I’m sorry for your lost, Paul…
Just that… I had to tell you. I hardly ever come around here - this “very beautiful space” you have, and it had to be “precisely” today, huh? :o) …maybe, precisely today, to let you feel some warmth (from the “room next door” ;o) ,and maybe precisely today to learn again about life (in the middle of a tedious monday morning at work…)
BESOS.
Paul,
Thank you so much for what you wrote about Bambi - it means so much to me (and all of us)! We will all miss her so much, but her spirit and love will certainly live on in us!!
Hope to see you again soon!! Love, Leslie
her smile is amazing… that’s probably where you & marie both got your smiles that light up the room.
